Full refund if your visa is refused under Article 32(1) Code 2, claimed within 30 days of the refusal letter or final appeal decision. Start my visa fileFrequently asked questions
Can I apply for a Schengen visa in the UK on my Indian passport?
Yes. If you legally live in the UK — on a Skilled Worker, Student, Graduate, family or settled route — you apply from the UK to the consulate of your main destination. You do not need to return to India.
How do I prove my UK status now that BRPs have been replaced?
The Home Office replaced biometric residence permits with eVisas; BRPs carried an expiry date of 31 December 2024 at the latest. Use your UKVI account to generate a share code or status document, and check how long your destination consulate requires your UK permission to remain valid after the trip.
Should I show UK or Indian bank statements?
Lead with UK statements in GBP showing your salary credits, because the trip is funded from the UK. Indian statements or property records can support your ties to India but should not replace your UK financial evidence.
Which visa centre do I use in the UK?
It depends on the consulate. France and Germany both take UK applications through TLScontact. For other countries, follow the link on that consulate's own website.
